The "Drug Allergy" test panel includes the determination of specific allergens and tryptase. This comprehensive analysis helps diagnose allergic reactions to medications and components that commonly cause sensitization in sensitive individuals.

This panel includes the following tests: Gelatin (c74), Latex (k82), Chlorhexidine (c8), Tryptase.

Gelatin is widely used in food products, medications, vaccines, and medical devices. Allergic reactions to gelatin can be immediate (IgE-mediated), including anaphylaxis.
Latex allergy usually develops after repeated exposure and can cause urticaria, asthma, and anaphylaxis. It is often associated with food allergies to certain fruits.
Chlorhexidine, as an antiseptic, can cause both immediate and contact allergic reactions, sometimes life-threatening. It can also cause contact dermatitis.
Tryptase is an important marker of mast cell activation, aiding in the diagnosis of severe allergic reactions and mastocytosis.

  • Diagnosis of drug allergies.
  • Detection of sensitization to common allergens found in medications, vaccines, and medical materials.

FEIA (Fluorescent Enzyme Immunoassay, ImmunoCAP) – quantitative determination of sensitization levels to allergens on a solid phase.

Please note that the research method and reference values may vary depending on the equipment and test systems used.
