Phadiatop is a patented screening test that includes a mixture of major inhalant allergens. The test helps differentiate between atopic and non-atopic respiratory diseases.

This analysis includes the following allergens: w6 mugwort, t3 birch, m2 Cladosporium herbarum (fungal mold), d1 Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus (house dust mite), e5 dog epithelium, e1 cat epithelium, g6 timothy grass, g12 rye.

The Phadiatop test is designed for highly effective differential diagnosis of the allergic nature of respiratory symptoms. Its use allows confirmation or exclusion of allergic disease with 93% sensitivity and 89% specificity. In case of a positive result, further quantitative determination of specific IgE to individual allergens is recommended. A negative result does not completely exclude an allergic etiology but indicates the need to search for other causes of symptoms.

  • Differential diagnosis of respiratory symptoms.
  • Detection of co-sensitization to inhalant allergens in cases of sensitization to food allergens.
  • For children under 4 years old, it is recommended to supplement with the FX5 screening test to confirm the allergic nature of symptoms.

FEIA (Fluorescence Enzyme Immunoassay) – a fluorescent enzyme immunoassay that allows quantitative determination of specific IgE antibodies.

Please note that the research method and reference values may vary depending on the equipment and test systems used.

  • Blood should be drawn in the morning on an empty stomach or 4 hours after eating.
  • Drinking plain still water is allowed.
  • Do not smoke for 30 minutes before the test.
