Cauliflower (Brassica oleracea var. botrytis) is an annual vegetable crop from the cruciferous family, forming characteristic heads resembling inflorescences. This test allows detection of an allergic reaction to this plant.

- Diagnosis of allergic reactions to cauliflower.
- Assessment of sensitization level and allergy risk.

- Blood should be drawn in the morning on an empty stomach or 4 hours after eating.
- Drinking plain still water is allowed.
- Do not smoke for 30 minutes before the test.
- For children under 1 year – no food 30-40 minutes before the test; for children 1-5 years – 2-3 hours fasting.
Allergy to cauliflower is rare but can cause serious symptoms including rash, itching, cough, nausea, diarrhea, and anaphylaxis. There is a risk of cross-reactivity with other cruciferous vegetables such as broccoli, Brussels sprouts, and mustard.
