The "Asthma/Rhinitis (Seasonal)" panel includes testing for specific IgE to major allergens that cause seasonal allergic reactions, including asthma and rhinitis.
This panel includes the following allergens: Mold Alternaria alternata (m6), Timothy grass (g6), Birch (t3), Hazel (t4), Mugwort (w6), Mixture of cereal grasses gx4 (g1 Sweet vernal grass, g5 Perennial ryegrass, g7 Common reed, g12 Rye, g13 Woolly burdock).
The test allows detection of sensitization to key allergens such as Alternaria alternata – a common fungal allergen that causes asthma and rhinosinusitis; pollen of timothy grass, birch, hazel, mugwort, and cereal grasses, which are major triggers of seasonal allergies. Detection of specific IgE aids in diagnosis, disease course prediction, and selection of effective therapy.
FEIA (Fluorescent Enzyme Immunoassay) – quantitative determination of specific IgE.
Please note that the research method and reference values may vary depending on the equipment and test systems used.
